Our Way

To produce high-quality works, editing cannot be done on a whim.  It takes several hours to craft what transforms into a finalized written work of art.  At The Final Drafters, we have adopted a very personal approach to creating copy that reads flawlessly not only to our editors’ eyes, but also perfectly in the eyes of our clients.  

After our initial contact, a TFD editor will discuss what your project entails and your personal or professional goals for that project.  The editor will request a copy of what you have already written (Ideally, a rough draft or drafts).  

The editor will then read it over, make revisions, and correct spelling in red, and email you back with the revised copy and the original within 24 hours.  You’ll see grades for several unique writing categories, initial and revised word counts, and notes for places to improve as well as elements of strength you have as a writer.  Ultimately, our goal is to not only make your written work better, but to improve your command of English and skills as a writer.
